I am passionate about merging nature with urban living by integrating the fields of architecture, horticulture, and landscaping to produce meaningful results. By utilizing materials and plants effectively, we can design visually appealing elements.
PERSONAL STATEMENT
My studies in Landscape Architecture have equipped me with essential tools and techniques that I applied during my Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) program. Throughout various projects, I sharpened my research and design skills using different software, both independently and as part of a team. This experience has instilled in me the confidence to address large-scale and intricate challenges effectively.
MY AIM
As a Landscape Architect, my goal is to gain multidisciplinary experience within the Landscape Architecture field while pursuing Urban Planning initiatives that benefit communities around the globe.
I am passionate about designing features that are not only useful and practical but also visually appealing. I believe in the importance of crafting sustainable landscape solutions that are resilient and advantageous to local communities, while also addressing pressing urban and environmental issues.
As a qualified Horticulturist, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with plants and trees, along with in-depth understanding of landscape construction materials and irrigation systems, which I will integrate into every project I undertake.
The combination of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture in my designs empowers me to create functional, practical, and aesthetically pleasing environments that enhance both community and ecological well-being.
MY EXPERIENCE
With 20 years of experience as a qualified Horticulturist in New Zealand and abroad, I have consistently demonstrated strong work ethics, excellent interpersonal skills, and outstanding customer service.
Over the years, I have developed a rich expertise in landscaping that has significantly enriched my previous projects. I am confident in my ability to continue contributing positively to future employers in the Landscape Architecture sector.
More about me
My love for nature started in my childhood, growing up in the countryside where I spent time traveling and working in agriculture and horticulture. In New Zealand, I became self-employed for several years, during which I gained valuable experience in designing and tending to various urban landscapes. Eventually, I shifted my career focus and took on the role of Head Gardener for several retirement villages, a position I held for many years.

Following my lenghty period in Retirement Villages I had shifted to work with various landscape Management companies in New Zeaaland and abroad.
On this website, I present the projects I completed during my studies.
